Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to orders placed on this website, which is operated by Hope & Glory Tea (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Delivery, Returns and Privacy policies.

Orders

An order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we dispatch your order and confirm this by email. We may decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable or was listed at an obviously incorrect price; if payment has been taken, it will be refunded in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and, unless stated otherwise, include VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged in addition and shown at checkout. Payment is taken securely at checkout; we do not see or store your card details.

Trade customers

Products bought through this site are intended for service or resale by hospitality and workplace venues as well as for personal use. Nothing in these terms removes any rights you have as a consumer.

Subscriptions

Subscription orders renew automatically at the interval shown when you subscribe, at the price shown for the subscription option. You can pause or cancel at any time before your next renewal from your order confirmation email or by contacting us.

Products

We take care to describe and photograph our teas accurately, but natural products vary slightly from batch to batch. Please check ingredient and allergen information before serving.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses arising from matters outside our reasonable control.

General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
